Can cats eat ghee or fat (घी)?

Moderate

Not a good idea: fat trimmings, ghee-rich leftovers and oily food can cause vomiting and diarrhoea, and even pancreatitis.

Why moderate: Rich, fatty food can upset the gut and even trigger pancreatitis.
